The team was led by the President of the SUG (AEFUNAI), Comrade Njoku Francis Ogbonna who noted that the organization took a holistic view and general assessment of the best performing Vice-Chancellors in the Federal Institutions in Ebonyi State and discovered that Prof. Nwajiuba excelled his equals and deserved the praise and commendation of the students’ body.

He averred that the Vice-Chancellor was rated with unequal parallel in massive infrastructural development and human capacity building and has transformed the university within short period of time.

Mr. Ogbonna recalled his admission year with AEFUNAI to have been characterized with pains and agony where they usually sat on blocks for chairs and shades for classroom. He posited that the bushy pathways created room for rape, sexual abuse and harassment but today, history has changed and posterity will forever remember the works of the Vice-Chancellor.
