DIRECTOR CLIMATE CHANGE VISITS AE-FUNAI

Vice-Chancellor, Alex Ekwueme Federal University, Ndufu-Alike, Professor Chinedum Nwajiuba recently received Director, Department of Climate Change, Federal Ministry of Environment, Abuja, Dr. Peter Yerima Tarfa in Vice- Chancellor’s Conference Room.

While talking with Prof. Nwajiuba, Dr. Tarfa commended the Vice-Chancellor for the giant strides achieved by his administration within this short span of existence, saying he is exceedingly impressed with what he is doing and such could not be achieved without a purpose-driven administration. He further stated that the university with such strides would one day be the leading University in Nigeria and indeed Africa.

Dr Tarfar while expressing his excitement about recent development in the young university, affirmed that the visit of Vice President of Nigeria, Prof Yemi Osinbajo is stamping the developmental achievement in the university and also demonstrates the effort of the Federal Government to energise Nigerian Universities through cleaner source of energy that is the solar plant which was commissioned in AE-FUNAI.  Dr. Yerima commended the Commitment of VC and his team and legacy they will leave behind.

Vice-Chancellor thanked the Director and promised that the relationship the university has with him would be further straightened.
