Vice-Chancellor, Alex Ekwueme Federal University, Ndufu-Alike, Ebonyi State, Prof Chinedum Nwajiuba, at the University Senate, yesterday, Monday 2, 2019, received AE-FUNAI contingents at the just concluded finals of Nigerian Psychological Association Quiz contest, held at the University of Uyo, Akwa-Ibom State.

The Soaring Eagles, who represented the University at the quiz contest, were led into the university Senate Chambers by their HOD, Dr. Emenike and Prof. Afam Icha Ituma, Dean, Faculty of Management and Social Sciences, who presented the trophy won by the students to the visibly elated Vice-Chancellor.

While receiving the champions, VC commended them for their excellent performance at the contest, stating that Alex Ekwueme is a world class University and therefore breeds the best. He urged the students to remain hard-working towards achieving success in their studies and to always be good ambassadors of the University wherever they find themselves. Prof. Nwajiuba in turn lifted the cup to the senate, who applauded the students for making the University proud by their feat.

AE-FUNAI contingents emerged first and best at the Nigerian Psychological Association quiz competition national finals held at University of Uyo, Akwa-Ibom State, last week.

The ‘Super’ Soaring Eagles got to the final stage, soaring above other contingents from across the six Geo-Political zones of Nigeria, ahead of the host, University of Uyo and University of Ibadan with 50 points, leaving the two Universities in a tie for second position.
